Websites About Cats
Before I begin, I must give a disclaimer. I am severly allergic to cats so anything that shows cats in an amusing way is even more hysterical to me.
The first site is LOLCATS . I first came across these during a WOOT-OFF and thought they were so funny. Then I learned they had their own site with over 4700 pictures of cats with misspelled, ungrammatical text to go along with it.

This one is a classic picture:

Here's another funny one:

The second site is STUFF ON MY CAT . This one has been around for a while but it's still funny. They even have their pictures in books. I've seen them in the bookstores when I'm supposed to be working.

If anyone has pictures of their cats doing something stupid, email them to me and I'll post them here. You can never get enough of cats being stupid.

Squidoo
So yesterday, I'm kicking around the 'net, trying to work but not really motivated and I run across "Squidoo". Squidoo is a very unusual site. You create what they call a "lens" (you can create many lenses). It focuses in on things you like, or are an expert at.
I couldn't resist, I created a lens. You can see it here. http://www.squidoo.com/myfunthings
Mine is called Fun and Interesting Things. I used work from home as a keyword too so there will be ads for that there too. You can link to my blogs, see my ebay items that I'm selling, watch a youtube video, take a poll, even get a free trial of Netflix. And, of course, since I'm such a weather geek, there's weather there too.
If you check it out, let me know what you think. I'm interested in your comments.

WeatherBug
OK, now that summer is in full swing, I'm hooked on WeatherBug. I have the temperature in my tray all the time and one little click brings it up. I get the temperature, down to .1 degree, wind speed, wind direction, gusts, amount of rain. If I click more, I can see monthly totals.
The feature I like the best is the radar. Once I see a dark cloud outside, I'm checking for thunderstorms. I watch as the red moves toward me only to veer away at the last second. It happened again last night. I love to put the radar in motion and watch the storms move across the screen.
It should be known that I am a weather junkie and have been since about the fifth grade. Summer is the most active time for radar watching. Now, if we only had a hurricane to track. I can dream, can't I?
